Pompey Buses
The Pompey Buses scheme is a project run by Pompey Sports & Education Foundation. Running in collaboration with First Bus, Hampshire Learning and Portsmouth health services. Our aim is to deliver education and health training into the community. The buses go to a wide range of venues including schools, children’s centres, community centres, and voluntary organisations as well as charities.

Hampshire Learning
Hampshire Learning supports adult and family learning courses throughout Hampshire at a wide range of venues. Much of the provision is funded by the Learning Skills Council (LSC) and is delivered through a network of providers. One of the aims of Hampshire Learning is to develop and strengthen a network of adult and family learning providers across the county.

Portsmouth health services
Portsmouth health services comprise of Portsmouth Primary Care Trust and Portsmouth City Councils Health Improvement Department. The bus will be used to deliver a variety of activities to raise awareness of issues such as the importance of cancer screening, healthy eating and healthy lifestyles.

Hiring the bus
